$1.8 Million Verdict – Forklift Accident at the UNI-Dome

A 47-year-old male was at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, IA helping with Luke Bryan concert takedown in February 2016 when he was struck and run over by a forklift driven by a State of Iowa employee. The client suffered a badly fractured ankle that required multiple surgeries. He was unable to work for four months while he recovered, and ultimately could not return to the job he had before due to his injuries. The State of Iowa offered $75,000 before trial to settle the case but RSH Legal personal injury attorneys argued that the client’s injuries were worth more than that.
